DMARTPORTAL: "Darko, thank you for welcoming us to your exhibition. The range of styles here is quite striking. Can you tell us what inspired this particular collection?"
Darko: Well, this is a collection of my drawings using a pencil and achromatic techniques and sometimes colors to represent some sacred geometry shapes, oriental styles, some ancient stuff and byzantine style artworks representing everything that happened to me at 2024.
DMARTPORTAL: "Many of your pieces seem to evoke a sense of movement, even in the still images. Is this a conscious element of your work?"
Darko: Absolutely, eventhough this is representative and concrete art the ideas represented on the paper is what might give a sense of movement and provoking an emotion.
DMARTPORTAL: "Your work blends traditional techniques with what appear to be very modern concepts. How do you balance these seemingly disparate elements?"
Darko: I would say "use what is given by the nature and import your signature manipulating it."
DMARTPORTAL: "For those viewing your art, what is the key takeaway you hope they experience?"
Darko: I'd like to share only positive vibes, profound spiritual symbolism and provoke feelings of curiousity for my audience.
DMARTPORTAL: "And finally, Darko, what are your plans for future projects? What can we expect next?"
Darko: first of all I hope we all remain safe, sound and blessed. I assure you that you can expect more mixed media art from me in the near future.
